Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. Stupidity is repeating the same mistakes. What the U.S. is doing in Lybia today is both insane and stupid. Radical Islamic, anti-US regimes are the future of the Middle East, if today’s corrupt politicians have anything to say about it.
Remember when the U.S. was HELPING the civilian Arab insurgents against the Russians in Afghanistan during the 1980’s. This insanity and stupidity rearmed those poor civilians as al-Queda and the Taliban. They returned our helping hand on 911. Now, the U.S. is repeating the same mistake. Only this time control of the Middle East oil supply is at stake.
Oil sales have indirectly funded terrorism through several existing Middle East nations. Now corrupt U.S. politicians want the money to go directly to terrorism organizations. Connect the dots.

Intelligence on the rebel forces battling Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has shown “flickers” of al Qaeda or Hezbollah presence but there is still no detailed picture of the emerging opposition, NATO’s top operations commander said on Tuesday.
Corrupt politicians are more interested in fundraising for their campaigns than remembering how al Qaeda was formed. Late in 1979 the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan. Thirty plus Islamic nations condemned the soviet intervention. The United Nations passed a resolution protesting the Soviet invasion. The U.S. subsequently provided Afghanistan Arab civilians assistance – Charlie Wilson’s War!
Charlie Wilson’s War to “save the Afghanistan civilians cost the US government at least $6 billion (some estimates range as high as $20 billion) worth of arms, training and funds to prop up Arab factions including Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda. Al Qaida leaders, including Osama bin Laden, have repeatedly confirmed that they planned and carried out the September 11 attacks.
U.S. May Supply Gaddafi Rebels With Weapons
Who are the insane politicians that want to repeat the Afghanistan mistake? They are stupid for wanting to repeat the same type of Afghanistan failures.
The Taliban movement/al Qaeda developed and was formed from orphans or refugee children of the Soviet-Afghanistan war. What anti-US regime will be boosted or created from the latest U.S./NATO Middle East intervention. More importantly, how strong will they become with Middle East oil resources?
The Unites States should let the Muslims sort out their own problems. If they are ever ready for a civilized society, democracy will prevail. If an anti-US, militant Islamic regime prevails then one clear national enemy will emerge, like those of World War II. Then the free world can bomb them back to the dark ages.
We will all breath easier when the corrupt politicians in Washington finally open up drilling in the U.S. Brazil has figured that out. Petrobras, which is majority owned by the Brazilian government, purposely services local oil needs first.
How much insanity and stupidity is it going to take for the U.S. citizens to wake up and vote out all the corrupt politicians?

Politicians claim to recently have had an epiphany. The message they heard from the people is cut spending and take aim on the deficit. Their ‘knee-jerk’ post-election reaction proposals are no more than a ‘circus of deception.’ These deceptive proposals include curving up entitlements, eliminating the mortgage-interest deduction and the customary raising taxes. While playing up to the circus-like political atmosphere, politicians deceptively target the shrinking middle-class for extinction.
Cowardly politicians have no heart for re-examining why the deficit is out of control. Everything from the way government operates to constitutional limits already in place on government should be examined. Instead, the media will enable politicians to début this Circus of Deception to divide a blind society.
Below are ideas you will not see getting much attention. The true budget reform lies in the ideas below. After the circus leaves town, the problems below will still be around.
Get rid of the Federal Reserve. Without the Federal Reserve, there is no interest to pay on the national debt. Why are we paying a bunch of PRIVATE bankers interest on money THEY say we can print? We can print money without their permission and not pay interest to anyone! Just ask Ron Paul or Abraham Lincoln or JFK.
Eliminate the tax-exempt foundations used by the wealthy to shelter billions of dollars every year. The corrupt politicians consistently look to the middle class for tax money. When they say tax the rich, they are really saying ‘tax the middle class suckers.’ The wealthy should be made to cough up their fair share of taxes on every nickel they earn. They should not be allowed to stash away money tax-free no matter how philanthropic their claims may be. These tax evaders can always donate their AFTER tax dollars, philanthropically.
Halt all government waste. The U.S. government and state administrations account for multi-billions of dollars wasted each year. Some polling estimates push the percentage of dollars wasted by government to 53%. Even if the real percentage is only half, waste of this magnitude is totally unacceptable and outright criminal. During a recession everyone (especially the middle class) should be picketing government to eliminate waste.
Freeze government hiring and pay increases. When private sector earnings become equivalent to government jobs, then reevaluate hiring and pay situations. The number of federal workers earning $150,000 or more a year has soared tenfold in the past five years and doubled since President Obama took office, a USA TODAY analysis finds.
Fight wars with drones not soldiers on the ground. Bomb the enemy into submission. Major advantage here is we could employ the unemployed to make drones and bombs with sayings on them like ‘welcome to hell’ or ‘remember 9/11’.
Close the borders. Illegals working in the United States are causing unemployment to be higher then it should be. American citizens are looking for work and will even pick grapes, work as short order cooks or day laborers. All these jobs were filled by legal citizens before illegal immigration became common place. The bonus before illegal immigration was there were not as many violent gangs and the massive drug activity we see in today’s society.
Repeal obamacare. Across the board, obamacare is bad for the United States and attacks every ones pocketbooks. Middle-class America is becoming extinct under government takeovers like obamacare.
Stop all foreign aid. Foreign aid is unconstitutional and must be stopped. “The U.S. government provided $12.9 billion in official development assistance last year, most of it through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and has spent hundreds of billions in aid since World War II.” Unofficially, multiply that number by 100.
How stupid can these politicians get? Try this reasoning on for size. The U.S. politicians borrow money from our trading partners (China owns us) for deficit spending and then sends the money back out of the country in the form of foreign aid. All foreign aid should be stopped. And a deaf ear should be turned to all the bleeding-heart liberals spewing humanitarian B.S. Charity begins at home during recessions. Better yet, let those against this idea send their ‘after tax’ dollars overseas. The rest of us will spend our money at home.
Foreign aid is the black hole of American politics. Foreign Aid costs every tax-paying American citizen thousands of dollars every year. Here is one outrageous example. The complete total of U.S. grants and loan guarantees to Israel for fiscal 1997 was $5,525,800,000. God only knows if that number hasn’t tripled by now.
“Each year, as Americans struggle to earn more, the government invents new ways to increase its share,” This cycle of deceptive practices must be stopped. Thomas Jefferson said, “My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.” We have both, bad and too much government.
The 2010 election served notice on bad, too much government. To blindly march on like true-blue socialists insults the intelligent. Let’s cut the fat off the budget first before hacking up the sacred cows of entitlements and raising taxes on the over-taxed middle class. Easiest spending rule to follow is – only spending allowed by the constitution is valid. Don’t let the escalating ‘Circus of Deception’ continue.
The American citizens have two years to monitor politicians that are supposedly representing them. If they don’t measure up Vote Out the Bums (again) – VOTB.

Epilogue: The United States is not the ‘goose laying golden eggs’ anymore. Industry has left the country, workers are unemployed, the tax-base is shrinking and the general population is getting dumber by the minute. Ideologue socialists (Pelosi, Reed and Obama want-a-bees) understand this concept and know civil unrest is next. They want rioting in the streets to secure their takeover. Then they will live like Czars, the peasants will survive on scraps and stories of the grand ‘middle class of the 20th century’. As the Circus of Deception continues so the U.S. marches on towards Feudalism.

If I were president, I would triple the public treasury with one stroke of the pen. I would make Social Security and Medicare solvent. I would provide health care for all U.S. citizens. I would lower the tax burden for all but the wealthy.
Corrupt politicians are making fools of the American people again. They pretend to be European-style socialists and continue to play the class-envy game, ‘tax the rich’. Behind this game-playing smoke screen, corrupt politicians are exempting their friends and in some cases, family, from taxation. Through these exemptions, corrupt politicians are allowing the wealthy to rob the public treasury of billions of tax dollars. A true socialist wouldn’t let that happen, but a corrupt politician would!
The tax-exempt foundation is an IRS loophole the wealthy use to rob the public treasury and shift the entire U.S. tax burden to hardworking, tax paying, middle class fools. Through the years the wealthy haven’t paid taxes on trillions of dollars.
If you are wondering why the U.S. deficit is on its way to bankrupting the United States of America (besides the ‘Keystone Cops’ in Congress), look at tax-exempt foundations. B.H. Obama, the current Congressional groupies and their predecessors are gutless wonders for not taking on the wealthy and their tax-exempt foundation status. They could become true American heroes if the did. They could pay for Social Security, Medicare and health care for all. Will they? Not with the cowardly lion in the White House and straw men and women in Congress.
The rub on corrupt politicians is that these tax-exempt foundations are essentially saying, ‘we can spend the money wiser than you politicians’. In reality, these foundations are funneling huge sums of money to anti-American and anti-capitalist groups, while giving pitons to ‘worthy’ causes. Bottom line: they are cheating the American taxpayers of billions of dollars.
Tax-exempt foundations have been around since Benjamin Franklin’s time. “Before 1900, there were only 18 foundations; from 1910-19, there were 76; during the 1920’s, 173; the 1930’s, 288; the 1940’s, 1,638; and during the 1950’s, there were 2,839 foundations. United Press International (UPI) reported on July 19, 1969, that the top 596 foundations had an income that was twice the net earnings of the country’s 50 largest commercial banking institutions. According to Rep. Wright Patman, in a report to the 87th Congress, it is because of the existence of foundations that “only one-third of the income of the nation is actually taxed.”

If I were President of the United States, I would require all colleges and universities to participate in pro-bono education. Tenured professors toy with adoring students and have their teaching assistants do all the work. The time has come for higher education to join the pro-bono ranks of lawyers and medical professionals.
Colleges and universities have always enjoyed pampered economic status. “College tuition and fees in the United States experienced an average annual inflation rate of 8.7% over the past 20 years, according to Department of Labor statistics. That’s 3.8 percent more than the average annual inflation rate of 4.9% during that same period.”

The American Bar Association’s ethical rules recommend that lawyers provide a minimum of 50 hours of pro bono legal work per year. Many believe that legal pro bono work is essential to ensure judicial access to everyone.
Medical professionals within the hospital setting have the obligation of stabilizing every emergency patient regardless of pocket book or citizenship status. Many of these patients are written off the books as pro bono. Many believe that pro bono work should apply to all physicians. This would ensure medical access to everyone. Especially, since ObamaCare will not cover everyone.
The same philosophy of legal and medical access for all must apply to education. Higher education is not financially accessible to everyone today. Higher education is relatively more expensive than legal or medical costs.
My educational pro-bono plan would be implemented within three years. My enforcement would be federal funding for educational institutions. Simply stated, follow my pro bono plan or no federal funding period (as in Pell grants and federally insured loans).
The first year would require colleges and universities to design and implement a test group of 20 students. They would have redesigned a ‘new’ bachelors’ degree based on 2 and a half years of classes, most being upper division work.
Traditional degree plans are full of electives and basic courses with the theory of making student well rounded individuals. My plan targets students’ specific degree needs not fluff. A bachelor’s degree in psychology or math or whatever, without the electives and some of the basic undergraduate busy work would be the new streamlined degree. The traditional bachelors of Science or Arts would still be available for students that want the traditional college experience. The bachelors of ‘whatever’ would be the slimmed down, specialist degree.
In between the first and second year, I would involve best practices to review and select promising designs.
During the second year, Colleges and universities would implement the best-designed plans to larger test groups. They would continue with their original sample group with modifications as necessary.
The third year would be open enrollment for the first 1000 economically challenged students per school. The overflow for any particular school would be distributed throughout all the schools. Once all the school had their 1000 students, a waiting list would be created.
These pro bono students would have the option of attending school through distance learning situations or physically attending class as traditional students. New electronic books, such as the ‘kindle’, enable distance learning anywhere.
The goal of a more educated population is two fold. The first is physical. People wanting more than the bottom level of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs will have that opportunity through educational advancement.
Secondly, a more educated public will demand more common sense from their elected officials. Corrupt politicians fear educated citizens.
Short of me becoming President of the United States, voters need an alternative strategy.

For many decades, corrupt politicians have been running government like they are packing for a long trip. Most citizens with travel experience know to pack light for long trips. We’ve all made the mistake of ‘over-packing’. Once on the trip we discover we don’t need everything we’ve packed. But we still have to lug the over-packed, heavy suitcase around. This suitcase seems to get heavier as the trip continues.
The U.S. is on a historical trip. It’s the greatest nation in the history of civilizations. But like many great nations before, government (through corrupt politicians) keeps putting stuff in the suitcase for this historical trip. The nation doesn’t need all this stuff because it will eventually weight down its carriers – the citizens.
Government, through power hungry, corrupt politicians, has made a major mistake. They have taken national concerns and have made them government responsibilities. Most of these responsibilities are not constitutional. The non-constitutional responsibilities are making government’s suitcase heavier than it should be. We don’t have the resources (tax-paying, citizen power) to carry it much longer.
The U.S. government suitcase has an entitlement sticker on it. It’s packed with welfare, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the post office, government contracts, etc. The U.S. trip has lasted over two centuries. But there are signs the trip is ending because of the suitcase’s weight.
As the suitcase gets heavier, there are signs that tax paying U.S. citizens won’t be able to or simply won’t carry it much longer. Corrupt politicians have made concerns about people’s individual financial status government’s responsibility even though it’s unconstitutional. They are expanding an unconstitutional responsibility of healthcare (Medicare/Medicaid) to unidentifiable limits. They are also trying to play god by controlling the world’s climate.
Between 1933 and 1935 government really began stuffing things into the suitcase. FDR’s New Deal put 14 government programs in. Many of these programs were said to be for short ‘trips’. Guess what: The corrupt politicians lied!
Government’s unconstitutional responsibility called welfare still exists today. It has had only one major reform. In 1996 Bill Clinton placed lifetime limits on those receiving Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) payments. Welfare has made the suitcase heavier for all over the years.
The Social Security Act of 1935 created the single largest item in government’s suitcase. It consumes over 22% of total government expenditures. The Social Security Trustees’ Report stated that the Social Security Retirement System’s unfunded liability increased by $752 billion since the 1998 Trustee Report was published. This brings the total long-term unfunded liability to more than $19 trillion. The suitcase is getting very heavy.

Placing Medicare/Medicaid into government’s suitcase took two (2) decades. Harry Truman asked Congress in 1945 to establish a national health insurance plan. Not until 20 years later in 1965, after much debate (Regan’s famous speech) with warnings about ‘socialized medicine’ did President Johnson sign into law Medicare and Medicaid. Prescription benefits were also added too the suitcase’s weight in the 2000s. Ironically, Obama is trying to add extra healthcare weight in months with little citizen debate.
The U.S. Postal service began over two centuries ago. It’s going bust and is the future of the stuff in the suitcase. Note the 8.3.09 headline. It says it all. ‘WASHINGTON – Facing staggering financial losses, the Postal Service is looking at closing nearly 1,000 offices across the country.’

The current administration is being ordered to pack even more stuff into its suitcase. Cap and trade and healthcare are two items that will rival the heaviness of Social Security. These ideas may be concerns but they are not constitutional responsibilities.
If I were president…..
I would first unpack the government suitcase and examine what’s in there. The most obvious item of note would be fraud. Deceptively spread throughout the suitcase, fraud is like the odor of dirty underwear. It permeates every other item in the suitcase. I would exam very program for fraud. And then I would eliminate fraud and its future.
I see fraud as a step-sister to justice. Fraud is blind. It has no ethnicity, color or sexual orientation. But fraud is contagious. Fraudulent schemes to swindle tax dollars are limitless.
Like any most diseases, fraud has a cure. The cure requires surgery. Naturally, the opposition to surgically eliminating fraud would surface immediately.
The opposition would be the pro-fraud crowd backed by the ACLU. They would call me a racist, Nazi, un-American, homophobe, radical extremists, right wing nut whatever ….. Ultimately, the pro-fraud crowd will claim that “attacking fraud is an abuse of democracy” even though they don’t believe in democracy.
To this pro-fraud crowd, I say get real. You are being manipulated by other peoples’ ideas/causes. You’re a joke waiting for a punch line.
The ideas/cause don’t have any long-term benefits for you or your families. The ideas/cause is your handler’s wet dream of global domination. These handlers rule you. Whoever is giving you marching orders from is playing you for a sucker. Acorn, media and union people and all those bloogers are on the priority sucker-list.
You suckers get to call people with different ideas – names. You get to stir the hate pot inside your being. You can feel like winners because your brand of ideas is dictating how citizens have to live their lives.
Your ultimate victory slogan is ‘misery loves company’. At the core of your being, you are miserable and need fantasies of feeling morally superior. The joke’s punch line is – you are carrying the same suitcase as the people you are calling names!
What are the acorns, media and union people, bloggers getting for supporting government induced socialism, fascism and communism? If you are one of these ask yourself a few basic questions. How is the ideas/cause you’re supporting:
• putting food on your table?
• ensuring freedom for your kids and grand kids?
• giving you the quality of life that your politicians enjoy?
• improving your opportunities to earn more money?
• translating to a more secure lifestyle – today in your lifetime?
Whether you realize it or not, you workers are united behind carrying an extremely heavy suitcase. The stuff inside the suitcase will boil you to death like the frog in the gradually warming pot. Before you know it you and the people you’re calling names will be serfs working for the politician lords and corporate kings. Congratulations, you are helping to usher in Feudalism!
Corrupt politicians have and are continuing to over-pack the government’s suitcase. Citizens need politicians that will lighten the suitcase not make it heavier! After all, we all are hoping to extend the U.S.’s historical trip, aren’t we?
An election revolt will send corrupt politicians the ‘lighter suitcase’ message. Every incumbent politician needs to be voted out of office. The longer they stay in office, the more corrupt they become.
Every citizen will benefit from a lighter suitcase, even the acorn people.

If I were president…..
I would institute the Citizen’s Impact Statement (CIS) process. Similar to the Environmental Impact Statement process, the CIS would need to be issued before congress or the president could pass or sign any legislation into law.
If the environment is so important, how much more important are human beings? Even in a feudalistic society, humans are necessary for paying taxes and producing food/goods for the elites’ consumption.
Under U.S. Environmental Law a document is required by the National Environmental Policy Act for federal government agency actions that ‘significantly affecting the quality of the human environment.’ Using a Reagan-like public appeal, I would get congress to pass a ‘National Citizens Policy Act’. This Act would require a similar statement for all actions that ‘significantly affect the quality of human life.’
Ironically, a bill stalled in congress had a similar ring to it. H.R. 3396: Citizens Protection Act of 1998 is still buried. This bill doesn’t call for any impact statement, but it could be the beginning of a general ‘National Citizens Policy Act’. It calls for ‘ethical standards for attorneys in government.’ Now you understand why it’s stalled in committee. One could stretch those ‘ethical standards’ to include all attorneys in government – most politicians, too!
The goal of the ‘National Citizens Policy Act’ would be governmental restraint. Here’s why citizens need protection from corrupt politicians controlling today’s government.
The slightest changes in government policy can have far reaching effects on citizens. Politicians, blinded by ego and pride in their short-sided thinking, are making significant policy changes today. They actually believe they can fix anything – economy, healthcare, housing, employment, imports/exports, foreign relations, even other countries, etc. They treat everything as a stand-alone problem. They need a course in endocrinology to understand the term inter-related!
If I were President I would direct congress to place minimum academic requirements for elected politicians. (That’s another blog topic.) In the future, one of the courses all politicians would need to take is an endocrinology class for beginners. Only then will they begin to understand the inter-related ‘cause and effect’ process.
Endocrinology is the study of hormones. Hormones are produced by a variety of glands in the body. Endocrinology encompasses the inter-relationship among all these glands.
Hormones are multifunctional biochemicals that control and regulate body functions. In short, hormones affect a person’s overall health. Many disorders can result from hormone imbalance. Some of these conditions include weakening of the immune system, violent mode swings, obesity, aging, sexual dysfunctions, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, senility, Alzheiemer’s disease, premature death, etc.
Hormone imbalances can be caused by a number of self-imposed things. Through ignorance these things can be taken into the body initiating hormone imbalances. Several common things include birth control pills, chemicals from processed food or their containers or the environment, steroid use, legal or illegal drug use, etc. These things affect one body hormone causing the desired affect. But when one hormone level is changed so are other hormone levels because they are all inter-related.
Even small quantities of these things can cause hormone imbalances. Get the point?
Politicians pass a bill to save big corporations, but they don’t anticipate the unemployment they have caused. They allow social programs’ fraud and keep on spending citizens into future debt. They pass a bill to make housing affordable to illegals and they affect every law abiding citizen’s ability to own a home in the future. Politicians authorize printing billions of dollars and then funnel it to foreigners. These same politicians don’t anticipate (or care) how that adversely affects a citizen’s purchasing power. They do a ‘cash for clunkers’ program and don’t understand how that affects affordable transportation for the less financially able.
A politician’s ignorance of this cause and effect inter-relationship is adversely affecting every U.S. citizen. The cause and effect of their actions today will make future generations very angry. Why, because ignorant politicians don’t play-out the inter-relationships of their actions.
As president I would pass a ‘National Citizens Policy Act’ that requires a Citizens Impact Statement for all congressional and presidential actions ‘significantly affecting the quality of human life.’
Citizens of the U.S. call for a ‘National Citizens Policy Act’ and a Citizens’ Impact Statement before any future federal or state laws/regulations are passed. Should elected politicians refuse to comply, vote them out – VOTB
